Every student should have access to free (actually free, not free with an asterisk) textbooks and other OER now, giving every student the opportunity to succeed. Free is the only truly affordable price for all students. #FreetheTextbook

We have formally requested that #SCOTUS correct the erroneous claim by Justice Kavanaugh that #VT has not changed voting procedures for the #2020Elections due to #COVID19. When it comes to issuing decisions on the voting rights of American citizens, facts matter.

Happening now! Grab a cup of coffee and join in to hear about how flexible limitations to copyright like fair use can enable quick adaptation to unforeseen challenges in education, like transition to online teaching. #OER #fairuse

Congress has the constitutional power to avoid a lot of this chaos by prescribing, among other things, uniform pre-canvassing rules (and mail-in ballot receipt deadlines) for federal elections. Whatever result you’re rooting for, I have to think we’d all be better off that way.

To summarize: 1. All dogs are good dogs. 2. Some dogs are also useful for identifying if another dog is a dog. 3. Every single one of us has chosen the wrong career path except for the authors of this study. Happy weekend.

Always great to hear from Barbara Soots about the OER policy work in Washington state - they’ve been such a leader in sharing the policy docs out of WA OSPI OER Project - one of the best places to look for k-12 OER implementation #GoOpen The #GoOpen Network

Listening to @sabiaprescott talking about the importance of open content being designed to be inclusive and culturally responsive from the start rather than being adapted after the fact. #GoOpen #OER

So @tceles_B_hsup can this be a hypothetical in our next conversation about copyright, OER, and student created works? (I’ll put your name on those slides . . .)
