It has been a pleasure to be a Yellow Jacket these past four years. 💚💛 I’ll be spending the 2023-2024 school year at home with Tré and the twins—a bittersweet privilege, for sure.

Summer is starting off strong with the arrival of the Morgan twins last night… 💕 Athena Hope 5:55 PM, 6lbs 12oz, 19 inches 💕 Phoenix Canaan 5:56 PM, 6lbs 11oz, 20 inches Nix and Nina are absolutely perfect!

Newborn photos! We didn’t get to do photos of Tré at the hospital because of Covid restrictions, and then I never ended up taking any at all—so I knew I wanted to get photos of the twins. I’m so glad I did!

I don’t know how to express how weird it is that I’m not setting up a classroom right about now. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little sad. But the next year will be filled with joy and time with my babies, and I’m definitely thankful for that!

Tomorrow marks my first time not having a “first day of school” since… Well, basically ever. I’m a little sad, but I’m also so thankful for this time with Tré, Nix, and Nina (and their cousin Weston). Who wouldn’t want to hang with them?! Happy first day of school, everyone!

Elmo might not be the fastest, but Elmo is still moving. And that's something Elmo is very proud of!

Ran into several former students while subbing today—I walked out of there on Cloud 9! It means so much to know that I helped these kids along their respective journeys, in however small a way. ❤️
