Y'all can say that again. I've never felt more unsafe than on the UW campus leading up to and after witnessing the J20 shooting. Thanks for the trauma that impaired my ability to learn for months and for continuing to uphold the white supremacy that lead to it, University of Washington.
1/2 Ana Mari Cauce I am SICK AND TIRED of skipping classes because I feel physically unsafe here. In my short 3 years here I've had a gun fired feet from me, been blocked from buildings after a bomb threat, been pepper sprayed by UWPD for PEACEKEEPING, faced sexual harassment,
2/2 been pushed down a flight of stairs by UWPD bikes because I couldn't move out of the way, and on MANY occasions had to avoid campus because of white supremacist rallies. AND your chief of police is a domestic abuser. When will you do something about it Ana Mari Cauce?

I wanted to recognize @aa_envir490 & Corina (she/they) for being incredible human beings throughout #POEcap. I am inspired by their strength and vision as environmental leaders and feel extremely privileged to have met them during my time at UW.
It feels odd to give a shout-out on Twitter to an org that focuses on #technologyaddiction 😂 However, ReSTART Life was an incredible experience, especially working with such compassionate staff. I am thankful for Jenna Duncan & her wisdom.
