It was a pleasure joining the conversation about decolonisation and intellectual responsibility at Institute for Global Prosperity yesterday. I’m grateful to the organisers for creating space for rage and reflection, and to Ilan Pappe for his excellent keynote.
It was a pleasure speaking with Toby Miller on his culturalstudies podcast. You can listen to our conversation here:

Solidarity with Jairo I Fúnez-Flores, a brilliant, engaged, anti-racist scholar under attack from the far right.
In this section, Dr Sadia Habib, Ruth Ramsden-Karelse, Chloe Peacock & I have a chapter on researching toppling statues during a ‘culture war’. We talk about difficult interviews, standpoint, & ‘impact’. I’m glad we had the chance to step back & reflect on our CoDE (Centre on the Dynamics of Ethnicity) research.
It was a pleasure to work with Aurelien Mondon A V Joan Braune on this book, and to grapple with this challenging topic in a series of conversations with the members of The Ethics of Researching the Far & Extreme Right.
