It's a new academic year. In your SLP/SLT and linguistic anatomy classes I would beg you to consider some minor changes to lingual anatomy class. Perhaps, that vowels are produced by grooving or doming different sectors by transversus & genioglossus. ICYMI pubs.asha.org/doi/10.1044/20…

Congratulations to my PhD student Claudia Raines for placing 3rd with her poster presentation on disease-specific articulatory impairments in talkers with dysarthria. This was her first research project in my lab. Now she is gearing up for her dissertation project. Time flies!!
