Hey hi, neurotwitter! I'm excited to present at #SfN21 this year. Come check out our virtual poster on the encoding of specific maze routes in Dentate Gyrus in the Place Cells 1 session today at 1pm CST! Great job to all my fellow presenters out there!

I’ll be presenting my work from the Sur Lab at #SFN21 tomorrow (P859.10), looking at potential neural correlates of temporal prediction in marmosets using wireless iEEG recordings. Join for the discussion (11/11 9:15 - 10:15am CT) or leave a message if you have any questions!

Science shanty time! To the tune of Roll the Old Chariot Along: 🎶Oh we'd be all right with p less than .05 🎶 (x3) 🎶And we'll get the grant this time! 🎶And we'll roll the ole project right along 🎶 (x3) 🎶But take mental breaks it's fine!

Our new preprint is out! We investigated thalamocortical dynamics at the moment behavior returns after a period of (sleep-like) unresponsiveness using ultra high-field, fast fMRI. (1/n) ninafultz Steph Laura Lewis

1/ Earlier this week at Boston University (Boston University), in a required class for 1st year Phd students, the class was lectured for an hour on why they as graduate workers did not deserve a living wage. This has never before been a standard part of the syllabus in this class.

Congratulations for an outstanding PhD defense by Dr. L. Kelton Wilmerding KeltonWilmerding about his dissertation work with me and Steve Ramirez! Kelton is a Renaissance Fair fan, so he requested a dubbing ceremony with his own sword.
