Today: drawing scary secret monsters in preparation for some descriptive writing and a big reveal on Halloween, and beginning to explore all of Canada’s beautiful geography before we settle in to creating Settlers of Canada!

When actual kids have fun writing, and actually realize the value of revision and feedback, and actually all publish, it’s a huge win! This was so fun! #missfsfabulousfives

For a bunch of kids who often struggle with empathy and compassion, it is great to see them noticing and being recognized for all the kindness in our room. This is just from the last two weeks! #missfsfabulousfives
