No 58 in my list of Things That Make Me Panic which shouldn’t: The self-serve supermarket till demanding my shopping be re-scanned. What does it know? Could I have missed something?! It’s all I can do to not scream “It was a mistake!!!” as the staff member comes over to me.

I'm honestly curious: If you say "Yes" to cookies on a website, as in allow all of them from that site, does that site every ask you again? To check if you are still OK with the cookies? As they never fucking stop asking if you say no.

Ahh, now that’s a shame. Rick Butler who was the drummer of The Jam has died. He moved on from music to do woodwork. Whenever I saw him interviewed, he always had nice things to say about The Jam, which is not so true of Paul Weller. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I usually get a couple of f0ll0ws a day on here now, almost always dodgy accounts with numerics in the handle or pushing politics, which I remove or block. Today, 12 so far. Only 2 might be genuine. Tw1tter is the land of spam.

. Chris 🕷🐦 you could try covering the fox with a carboard box with the bottom and one side cut out, to give shelter. It probably won't help, but unless you are willing to physically take it into full shelter, it's the best you can do. Put water next to it and hope.
