Crying again at #lifeandbirth on BBC. The different perspective of watching a birth compared with being the midwife always throws me. πŸ˜…

Finally in the editing stage of essay 2/3 (or 4 if you include a 2000 word reflection) of 2nd year.. thankful for a bank CSW shift tomorrow as I've been living on £90 for the last month. The reality of annual leave as a #studentmidwife 😁 but I wouldn't change a thing.

Find it hard to give good breastfeeding support as a student as there is always so much running around to do and time is short.. but finding that bank CSW shifts when well staffed are giving me so much longer to spend with women (also the pay is a bonus... 😁)

Finally visited our new Wirral Midwives birth centre in Seacombe today.. massive bright birthing room with loads of options for active birth, a little kitchen facility and a garden to potter in (or deliver in πŸ˜‚) and a lovely team of midwives πŸ‘πŸ»
