@STEMPInc involvs designing a tech solution. Our winners today designed Happy Hugs a teddy bear for children with ASD that will allow them to communicate via a teddy bear using buttons. We coded the LED lights using micro:bit to light up according to a child’s emotions Mercy Coolock

Lovely to combine the CEIST Ceiliúradh Day with St. Brigid’s Day today. Our 5th years were delighted to present the Crosses they made to the parishioners at 10 a.m. Mass in St. Brendan’s Church and to be involved in the liturgy through readings and prayers.

Our 1st year students enjoyed an informative & entertaining workshop to celebrate International Day of Women & Girls in Science. Thanks to Leanne and the female scientists from Viatris and to Ms. Lawlor who hosted the Lunch and Learn session in her lab in Mercy. Viatris

Congratulations to the ‘Clothes don’t have gender’ team from Mercy College in Coolock for their excellent pitch to the Den panel this morning. The team was awarded €400 and mentoring to create 'Trouser Option packs' for other secondary schools. Well done! #YSIDen

Super win for our senior soccer team in today’s cup quarter final. The girls came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat a very good & sporting Ardgillan College team 5-2. Well done to the players of both teams on producing such a thriller and thanks to coach Mr. Keane.Ardgillan College

We are so proud of 4th years Kate & Rebecca and 2nd year Katie whose work has been published in ‘Words of Love’, coordinated by Louise Melinn & launched in Fighting Words today. People of all ages were asked to share their thoughts on love through interviews, poems, and stories.

Yesterday, we were joined by 4th year students of Mercy Coolock at the UCD Sutherland School of Law for our annual Legal Eagles moot court case. Many thanks to Laurent Pech 🇺🇦, ProfGB, and California Superior Court Judge Patricia Lucas for the special day.
