Flying Start awareness sessions are delivered by the Practice & Care Home Education Facilitator Team to raise awareness of staff roles, responsibilities and expectations for staff supporting newly qualified practitioners. These 1.5 hour sessions can be booked on Learn Pro.

Grateful for the opportunity to enable conversations about leadership with @Melabird61 and our colleagues in Orthopaedics and Surgery recently. We explored Peter Anderton's 2 Rules of Leadership and Michael West's Compassionate Leadership to reflect on our experiences and practice🥰

Working on this presentation enabled me to reflect on where my own leadership style usually sits on this spectrum, how I can challenge myself to utilise other styles when appropriate, and how I can always underpin my practice with compassion and kindness to enable others 🤔
