That was my reaction (as much as I yearn for full citizenship and have always argued that many states have corrupt officials, which doesn't negate their statehood) when I learned that 7 members of the Council of DC had supported Phil Mendelson in castrating the law Friends of McMillan.

Skirting the law, changing regulations, endorsing no-bid, hiring PR firm to negate Peoples'voice & now usurping the Court, I question if District of Columbia is capable of governing in favor of the People.
