Solving the same A Level trigonometry problem 4 ways. (Maximum value of top expression and smallest positive value of theta which achieves it) I get my students to pick different ways than their partners and then try to race them to do all 4 in the time they take to do 1!

Upon entering my classroom today and noticing that my hair was down, one of my Year 11s asked, "are you tired or in a good mood?" My answer was "both". It seems I have a tell.

Last Thursday was my baby Busby’s worst day in Paediatric Intensive Care -we nearly lost him 3 times. A new Doctor arrived, masked up,& started treating him absolutely expertly-the treatment saved his life. When my baby was stable the Dr thanked me.

I have created a resource on finding the HCF & LCM from product of prime factors! First time sharing a resource online after using so many that others have shared. Hope you like it. (Note Q14 has more than one possible solution - I picked my favourite).

I'm trying to teach fractions more thoroughly with our Year 7s this year. I've created a simplifying fractions activity incorporating some of the prior work we've done on divisibility and product of prime factors. Full ppt with definitions, worked examples and answers on TES.
