This month CELF had its first in-person #studentsymposium in TX! The event was generously hosted by EDP Renewables & together, students throughout TX schools showcased projects related to #civicscience, community-based environmental initiatives, & #airquality monitoring.

Students in the Sustainability classes at Philippa Schuyler MS for Gifted and Talented started their Air Quality Project by engaging with air quality maps and mapping their own school to ignite research questions around air quality.

CELF is looking forward to exhibiting our work during the upcoming EarthX conference in #Dallas during #EarthWeek. We'll be there on #EarthDay, April 22nd.

Event participants will have a chance to test out the Flow personal #AirQuality monitoring device from @plume_labs, and to learn how CELF is partnering with @McMacCX to support teachers and students to become #CELFairchampions through our Civic Science program.
