Today U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service expanded the potential boundaries of two Texas Coastal Bend refuges, Aransas National Wildlife Refuge & Big Boggy National Wildlife Refuge, by 150,000 acres. They'll now work with willing sellers to conserve additional land for the refuges. fws.gov/press-release/…

Last Saturday the Galveston Bay Foundation hosted the 30th Annual Trash Bash which is the largest, single-day waterway cleanup in Texas. We are always happy to take part and are grateful to the many volunteers who make this crucial clean up project possible. #ThankfulThursday
