⭕Two famines. ⭕A global hunger crisis. ⭕A historic funding shortfall. We need world leaders to act with urgency to protect food security, safeguard humanitarian action, and invest in peace. Because food security is global security.

Two years of war in Gaza have brought devastation, displacement, hunger. Amid these unprecedented conditions, World Food Programme remains on the ground, adapting every day to reach families in need. Gaza urgently needs food and aid at scale — and only a ceasefire can make that possible.

‼️Two famines. No excuse. For the first time in history, we have two famines happening at the same time. Where WFP and partners have sustained access, food insecurity and malnutrition rates drop. But we need collective action to reverse famine.

This World Food Programme bakery is up & running—and it’s only the beginning. As soon as we get full access in #Gaza, we will immediately mobilize to deliver food for 1.6M people, revive our network of food distribution points, and scale up nutrition for women & children. We’re ready to roll.
