Really interesting & informative visit to Hughes & McHugh, optometrists, in Baillieston. Part of a campaign by Optometry Optometry Scotland to update MSPs on their work. Discussed a range of issues including training, dispensing, latest equipment, relationship with GPs & pharmacists.

Tomorrow is the Feast of St Cecilia, an early Christian Martyr who is Patron Saint of musicians.
