I highly recommend all of the books by my friend and fellow Changemakers author Dr. John Robinson on conscious aging and mystical activism. John is a true wise elder with much to offer the world!

Had so much fun shaking the apple trees and helping my brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dwight and Lauren Bradley, make apple cider in New Hampshire’s beautiful White Mountains this month! A bear visited the trees nightly but left plenty of fruit behind. #newhampshireoutdoors

When architect Steven Holl planted 35 ginkgo trees at the Kennedy Center’s new addition known as the REACH, Holl hoped the trees would drop their golden leaves in tribute on Nov. 22, the day Kennedy died. This week they did. Photos: Sandy Willen #gingkotree #fallfoliage #kennedyc

The Pinxter Flower or Wild Azalea is blooming today in Rock Creek Park. And the Wood Thrush, DC’s official bird and favorite songster, is back from Central America. Springtime synchronicity! #PinxterFlower #WildAzalea #WoodThrush #RockCreekPark

Happy Autumn! 🍁 Recently led my 3rd trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Park in the Dakota Badlands for Smithsonian Associates. My friend Linda Rubenstein and I are enjoying an early taste of fall at TR’s Elkhorn Ranch site within the park. One of America’s best-kept secrets!

Polly Alexander and I visited the Capitol together this week to see our old friends-the trees! Started working on the first edition of “City of Trees” almost 45 years ago. The grounds, designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, are now officially called the “Capitol Grounds & Arboretum.”
