Despite Canada's Parliament voting for an end to all arms transfers to Israel, the gov't says the embargo won't apply to existing permits due to concerns with the 'supply chain.' They are explicitly putting the profits of Canadian companies ahead of the lives of Palestinians.

Haaretz also reports that the strikes were fired from an Elbit Systems Hermes 450 drone.

In 2020, Canada purchased a Hermes 900 Starliner for $36m.

Canada must end its complicity. Ban all military imports from Israel and cancel existing contracts with Israeli firms.

The IDF believed it saw an armed man with the World Central Kitchen convoy during a previous leg of the trip. They did not see him when leaving the warehouse, but decided to strike the entire convoy and kill everyone in it just in case. This is the IDF’s own explanation.
