I was raised by a mother who taught me to have a heart for service through her example of compassion and giving. Somewhere, in the midst of life’s chaos, I lost that. Then, Habitat entered my life, and I’m going on a pretty incredible journey with this organization.

Kids like this one keep me going. It’s been a great week for hands-on learning and student leadership at Wurtland Middle School!

I’m super excited to share that I’ve been chosen as one of 70 school administrators from across the country to participate in the Teach for America Rural School Leadership Academy! I always welcome new opportunities to learn.

Today, our kindergarten and first-grade students visited Rose Valley Animal Park. Pure joy. These smiles keep us going each day! 💕
