God can calm the raging storm of the mind with a simple command. “Fret not thyself because of evil man; neither be envious at the wicked; for there shall be NO reward to the evil man...” (Prov 24:19-21)

In a world with so much confusion, you must remember the standard of truth that really matters is, “thus saith the LORD...” “...let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me...” (Isa 9:24)

Be careful what you read... what you listen to... what you watch... who you follow. “Learn not the ways of the heathy, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven...” Jer 10:2 Heavy stuff from Jeremiah, but vitally important to guard your walk with the Lord.

Truth

In a world full of hate, followers of Christ are marked by love: 1. Love the Lord-Mt.22:37 2. Love your neighbor-Mk.12:33 3. Love your enemies-Lk.6:27 4. Love one another-Jn.13:34-35 “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ...”(Jude 21)

What a day... when God will wipe away all tears. (Rev 7:17) Looking forward to heaven!!

When facing trouble, we have two options. 1. Sit and weep 2. Fervently pray Don’t be so overcome with grief that you fail to take your burdens to the Lord in prayer.

A substitute for God’s plan for your life will never satisfy.
