Our group ready for the 3-day computational metabolomics workshop hosted by Marine Biodiscovery Centre, UoA University of Aberdeen

Day 2 of our Computational Mass Spectrometry Workshop📊👩🏼💻👩🏼🔬 Today Justin van der Hooft will teach us how to use Cytoscape to visualise GNPS Molecular Networks! Looking forward to all sessions! For more info, watch this space 👀

Summer solstice, longest day of the year🌞🌞 was well-spent with Day 2 of Computational Metabolomics Workshop Marine Biodiscovery Centre, UoA ☑️Learned to navigate and explain molecular networks in Cytoscape and Ms2Feast with Justin van der Hooft ☑️hands-on with the newly launched #FERMO with @MitjaMZ

And that is a wrap on the 1st Computational Mass Spectrometry Workshop📊👩🏼💻 Thank you to the speakers, Justin van der Hooft, @MitjaMZ, RuAngelie Edrada-Ebel from Edrada-Ebel Group and Jonas Emmert and thank you to all attendees for participating! Looking forward to a repeat next year!

🧬 Equitable sharing of Digital Sequence Information is crucial for researchers to protect #biodiversity & address #PublicHealth. But how is #DSI used across countries? Our University of Aberdeen partners explore this topic for #BlueRemediomics. See infographic 👇drive.google.com/file/d/1qerWyW…

Click below for more details to the side event on #DSI at the UN Biodiversity #WGDSI2 in Montreal, Canada🇨🇦. Marcel Jaspars and Federica Casolari will be there to represent the BlueRemediomics project and the MBC📅

Yesterday Prof Jaspars was talking at the WGDSI2 side event (Montreal, Canada) about #DSI and how it is used and managed. He also discussed DSI case studies from the EU Blueremediomics project (BlueRemediomics)

Ahead of the UN Biodiversity COP16, Prof Jaspars and BlueRemediomics partners have published a highly informative policy brief on ‘Disclosing and Sharing Genetic Resources: Recommendations based on the WIPO treaty and BBNJ agreement’. BlueRemediomics @MARBLES_EU
