Good tax policy should avoid cliff edges (ref. Dan Neidle ) or behavioural change kicks in to mitigate it. Is there a better/worse example than this as for some the best tax policy will be to ensure they are not here next April ?

SFI24 - we are there! Over 4yrs since I started, eventually had a SFI pilot agreement, now 1 of lucky few who since March could apply for full SFI 4+ years but SFI ended before pilot finished Big plus was Janet Hughes pilot farmers won’t be disadvantaged +it was honoured -just!
