Very nice study - well done…. We were all taught this assay didn’t generate false positives! Yet, I definitely have patients with AChR-Ab positivity and no clinical evidence of MG. So, I’m sure this study will help clinical practice👌

I can’t speak to your soul or stats but rewriting is the only way to improve the text. And it works! That’s how a good paper becomes excellent……

Many congratulations to Professor Irani and all co-authors for winning the prestigious 2024 PNAS Cozzarelli Prize in Biomedical Science. 👏🧠 The winning paper was a collaboration between NDCN, The Department of Statistics, and the Mayo Clinic in Florida.

Beware commercial tissue based assays (TBAs) to detect cell surface autoantibodies in neurology. TBAs are often used as screening tests and are reader dependent. Bottom line: please think clinically when diagnosing autoimmune neurological syndromes pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40393020/
