This week, Year 4 have taken part in a Greek workshop hosted by Chertsey Museum . The children enjoyed learning the Greek alphabet, playing with spinning tops and drawing real Ancient Greek artefacts.

As part of their history topic on The Great Fire of London, Year 2 built their own houses over the Christmas holidays and then recreated the fire in the playground to show how the fire spread and the impact it had on the surrounding buildings. #BelieveAchieveSuceed

Yesterday, Year 4 visited Halstead St Andrew's School to attend an African drum workshop. The children had a fantastic time learning polyrhythms on the drums and claves. #BelieveAchieveSucceed

Yesterday, Starfish class visited The Lightbox for a story telling workshop. The children listened to the story of The Princess and the Frog and then made a puppet of one of the characters from the story. #BelieveAchieveSucceed

Yesterday, Dolphins took part in a Mr Dilly workshop all about WW2. It was full of information and they had a great time learning about events such as the Blitz. #BelieveAchieveSucceed

150 Years of Maybury! To commemorate our school’s 150th anniversary, we enjoyed a remarkable morning stepping back in time. The children and staff came to school in Victorian attire to experience what school life might have been like when Maybury first opened.

Road and bike safety skills are so important. After some Year 6 sessions, these children were gifted these from the Bikeability team for being exceptional during the training Bikeability
