This morning my coworker, friend, and fellow union leader was fired at my store in retaliation for their union activity. Our managers blatantly lied about my coworker’s actions and character. Please support in any way you can gofund.me/cccfc1f9

A year ago today, a group of working class baristas organized the first unionized Starbucks store in the United States. In the span of one year, we went from ZERO unionized Starbucks stores to 270 and almost 7,000 union workers. #SBWU1YearStrong

Starbucks workers are DOUBLING DOWN. Starting today, over 1,000 baristas are walking out on a THREE DAY STRIKE, making this the longest collective action of our campaign yet. #DoubleDownStrike

I sent a letter to Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz today in support of the brave workers fighting for better wages and working conditions. My request to him is simple: Obey the law. Stop firing organizing workers. Sit down with your workers and bargain a fair contract in good faith.

#DearHoward What’s the point of calling us partners if we have no say in our working conditions? Only a union can give us a voice. Have fun on the 29th!

We gave non-economic proposals to Starbucks 7+ MONTHS ago. The company listened to us read them countless times. Yet, they’ve failed to agree to a SINGLE line or provide a SINGLE counter proposal. When we say that Starbucks is not bargaining in good faith, THIS is what we mean.

the partners of hanley & dale in STL filed one year ago today, and although it wasn’t an easy year, we could not be happier with our decision. we’re not going anywhere laxman. maybe after your barista shift you can meet us at the bargaining table (if you’re not too tired).

STRIKE WITH PRIDE! Seattle Roastery leads nationwide Starbucks strike over Starbucks’ hypocritical treatment of LGBTQIA+ workers. Over 150+ stores and 3,500 workers will be on strike over the course of the next week.

Starbucks workers will shut down over 150 stores across the country starting today. Starbucks Workers United has called the mass strike over management ordering them not to celebrate Pride this year. The union says workers have been told not to decorate for Pride in at least 22 states.

Two union workers in STL have been placed on an indefinite “paid suspension” and have not been receiving their wages promptly or in full, please share and give what you can to help them stay afloat while we investigate this “paid suspension” gofund.me/51035b25 #GoFundMe

Never let powerful people (ie. Littler lawyers) underestimate the capacity and intelligence of ordinary people - taken from the NLRB judge’s recent ruling against Starbucks at the store where I used to work
