A striking thing about the below is that the Council Officer is comfortable with saying ridiculous things with the Cabinet member in cc. It suggests that Council Officers believe they can act with impunity and that Southwark Labour have lost control of the Housing Dept entirely.

Great to see that change is possible when it comes to Local Authority run heat networks. Thus far Southwark Labour have been unable to come up with a solution to the problems with excessive cost - is it worth them speaking to Newcastle City Council for ideas?
