For more context, they decided that there are too many people graduating so they just cancelled the pre game celebration of each individual. No announcement of players will be done before the game against UConn.

I believe one of the biggest honors of being a college football player, is to be able to celebrate your college career and taking pride in becoming an alumni. Not having a senior day is just not right🤦🏽‍♂️

With all the hard work I’ve put in being apart of this program and not having a honoring on senior day is not sitting right with me, and I’m sure it’s not for the rest of the seniors this is not right point blank period.

I covered UMass Football for 4 years. I've covered some 60 odd High School Football games across 2 states. This is the most mind-blowing thing I've ever heard of.

This, and the parents who come to every game to support their kids. They deserve this too. There is no excuse, you make the time to do it. There is NO excuse.

Clemson is prepared to honor over 30 Seniors this weekend vs Citadel. UMass has cancelled their Senior Day Ceremony because of the amount of graduating players. Some schools just don't care 😔

What is this? Never heard of something like this before. Tough to do this to all these Seniors(and their families) that have given everything they have to the UMass Football program and UMass Amherst - Sad to see

Alex Barth (@realalexbarth) 's Twitter Profile Photo

This is shameful by UMass. These kids dedicated themselves to a program that has been a clown show, and they can’t even get a proper send off? And to announce it 10 days before the game, when they’ve known all along how many seniors they have? Pathetic.

#Michigan vs. #OhioState (fight) and Police spraying (macing) Michigan players is uncalled for. Those police officers on the field should be arrested and banned. A good Michigan win.

Benjamin Watson (@benjaminswatson) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If law enforcement came on the field and started pepper spraying players after the game, I hope both Michigan and Ohio State take proper action to ensure their players have legal representation. Unreasonable use of force for two teams fighting after an emotional football game.

Matt Tuleja (@matttuleja40) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Abhorrent. I hope these players get paid an exorbitant amount of money for this excessive use of force. Never in my life have I heard of this. I’m livid. Police behaving that way has no place in football

Big ruling by a court today that JUCO athletes who play college sports, retain all 4 years of NCAA eligibility even if they play a year or two of JUCO Might encourage a lot more athletes to go that route
