Last week, the Red Sox game was Apple streaming only. Tonight, the Lakers game is only available via Peacock. Why isn't there more outrage about this absolute greedy bullshit? Imagine being a lifelong fan, being forced to subscribe. Thank God for AM/FM radio.

My "midnight snacking" has extended to 3 AM. Thankfully they are healthy snacks, such as white cheddar Cheez-Its with French onion dip. Almonds, peanuts, and popcorn also make an appearance. Then dessert. Tonight there was a Ring-Pop thrown in too, because it's my cheat day.

The Kentucky Derby is great, but I prefer the big afterparty where all the horses get drunk and neigh their way through some karaoke.

Of course I'm distraught over the Celtics losing, but also I feel like I can finally root for the Knicks without any guilt or internal conflict. Finally.

Tonight's SNL was one of those joyous ones; super funny, didn't get too political or sexual, the host was game for anything (of course she was, she seems like a goofball), her music was incredible...in fact, it was a very musical episode overall. And, also...Debbie!!

I am all three of these people all the time.

Underrated: "Just Push Play" This album, CD, hit my Sony boombox as soon as it came out, and it's the first Aerosmith album that was mine, all mine. Same summer I got into George Carlin and MAD Magazine and Dark Side Of The Moon. I was a complicated cat, but I had these guys.

Two movies released months apart in 1972. Two incredible, unique performances. Two of my favorites. One actor.

Every time I read a film review, I have to remind myself: that is just one person's opinion. Regardless of their history, being a critic or a filmmaker, it's how the movie hits them specifically. My favorite movie may be your least favorite, and vice-versa. And that's okay.

I love to hate the Yankees. As a Red Sox fan, of course this is how I feel. When I heard about John Sterling's apartment fire about ten years ago, I was devastated. Man, he bounced back, better than I probably could've. R.I.P. Mr. Sterling. This Boston fan is gonna miss you.
