That Brandin Cooks ball didn’t hit the ground. Clock hit 0:00 for Jags. Still 10-7 Bills. Leave the BS in the first half. Score on the first drive. Make life hell for Trevor Lawrence. Win the game.

NFL playoff scheduling is not fair. It might produce good ratings but it’s not fair. This late in the season recovery time is crucial and it is not given equally. Rams & Bears played Saturday games. They will face each other on Sunday with an extra day of rest. 49ers played on

So Beck Malenstyn took a stick to the face from one of the Florida Panthers, they blew the play dead — even though the Sabres still had the puck — and then they didn’t give a penalty out. Officiating has been brutal. I wasn’t a full-blown Justin Kea conspiracy theorist. I am now

8 games in 13 days for the Sabres. Starting with a loss to a short-handed Panthers team is not ideal, but they also looked gassed and have a lot over the last few games. Let’s get Ostlund back in the mix and bench Quinn or Greenway for a bit.

This plus Joe Brady calling three straight runs on first down in OT. Every Bronco knew what was coming. Sean Payton also out-coached McDermott. Josh wasn’t great, but he gets a pass on everything because they wouldn’t have been there without him.

Thought about player reaction to Sean McDermott being fired and NOT Beane. If both had been fired, I think it is better received by players. The way they handled it sends the wrong message. Josh Allen and McDermott are super close as well. Interested to see how this plays out.

Phantom tripping call on Owen Power and the Hurricanes score seconds later. Nice to see the refs being consistent against Buffalo teams this week.

Sabres loss aside, just relieved that Logan Stankoven is OK. I thought they were going to have to amputate his leg by the way he was screaming and rolling around after this vicious attack from Owen Power, but thankfully he was back out there next shift.

The Sabres being able to win in Montreal despite most of the big dawgs having an “off-night” is a testament to how strong this team has the potential to be. Need another add up front and some depth on defense and they’re in business.

Athletes took all the media jobs from journalists and used to say that we didn’t know what we were talking about, all for athletes to get into media to prove that they don’t know what they’re talking about.

Had Sabres “fans” questioning Rasmus Dahlin’s leadership and why he didn’t come home sooner after Christmas break. He could take the whole year off and it would be justified, but he didn’t because he’s a true captain. What an absolute warrior (Ras and his wife).

What is Peyton Krebs doing there? He saw Guentzel behind him and just let him hang. Really odd player management during OT. Brutal point to lose like that

When the Sabres are healthy, they’re a very difficult team to beat. But you pull guys like Benson and Norris out of the lineup and those forward lines fall apart fast. Can’t rely on guys like Quinn and Krebs on top lines and then you’re forced to stack your first line.
