A Christmas message from the president… Merry Christmas everyone.

I’m at Thunderbirds game where a player collided with another player into the boards. The Seattle player was immediately given CPR and taken off on a stretcher. The Portland player was given a game misconduct. Most of the fans here are shaken. What an awful sight.

The T-Bird player is alert and responsive. He is being transported to a local hospital for further medical attention and observation. Following the resurfacing of the ice, we will play the remainder of the second period then transition to the third period.
