Is there anyone out there doing a environmental/conservation related research project that could do with some extra funding? Have a look at the CWRT 2019 Student Grants Program to see if you can qualify for a grant up to $5k. bit.ly/2WANcCD

Sometimes you do need to get your hands dirty in the conservation game. Whether feral predators or grazing pests ... TNR is rarely an effective or realistic option.

Great #ecology #PhDopportunity for anyone who wants their work to be relevant (& cited). Deer management in Australia: the field is just about a blank canvas, and there's so much demand for that canvas to be filled

What birds are in your backyard?🐦The Great Aussie Backyard Bird Count is on this week! It's your chance to do your bit for citizen science right in your own backyard, or anywhere you happen to be visiting in Australia. To get involved head to aussiebirdcount.org.au

Oh! look over there... nothing to see here! PS majority of research I've seen from old CSIRO papers indicates that most game species start breeding late July/August in a regular season.
