Keeping British Columbians safe is our highest priority. People struggling with addiction deserve care and compassion, but there shouldn’t be any illicit drug use where our kids play or where hospital patients recover. Everyone deserves a safe community.

Yesterday was a memorable day. President of the Haida Nation, Gaagwiis Jason Alsop, was part of a delegation of Haida Nation citizens present in the B.C. Legislature for the introduction of the historic Haida Nation Recognition Amendment Act.

drex Peter Kelly Just minutes prior, he stood up in the house and expressed his support to the Haida for this legislation. He explicitly said it was the right thing to do. Then he walked out of the house and recorded this trash

This is not true. The agreement states:

'The Haida Nation consents to Fee Simple Interests on Haida Gwaii continuing under [BC] jurisdiction.'

And that the agreement will 'not alter or derogate from those Fee Simple Interests or any rights or interests associated with them.'

Imagine wearing an indigenous design lapel pin on your jacket while playing the role of race-bater. This guy has zero class.
