In the last couple of days, they completed the west Michigan sweep, beating two very good teams in FHE and Cal to go along with a win against Hudsonville earlier in the year

Mattawan continues to keep their foot on the gas as they cruise by BC Lakeview to make it back to back Regional Championship game appearances. Wildcats get the W 14-4. They await the winner of Holland Christian / Vicksburg.

Region 10 gives us Mattawan taking on Holland Christian. Plain and simple: this is a mismatch. Mattawan has been spectacular this year, only losing once to DCD. The road is there for them to get to their final 4.

Make it 17-1 for Mattawan. They keep it simple tonight and take care of Holland Christian 13-2 to claim their region. Special team to say the least

Haslett wins Region 13 taking down Saginaw Heritage 18-2 Haslett gets Mattawan in the Quarterfinals. A trip to the final 4 on the line

Favorite matchup from each division: Hartland v GL and Mattawan v Haslett I think these have the best chance to provide the most exciting games

The dream season continues. Mattawan punches their ticket to the final 4 with the 11-10 OT win over Haslett. They will face DCD for a trip to the D2 Championship Game

Championship Week is upon us. Plenty to break down as we have Semifinals tomorrow. When looking at the matchups, you can look at a regular season meeting and a final score, but they really only mean so much. Momentum is a hell of a thing this time of year.

The Wildcats have cruised through a schedule full of top notch opponents from all over the state this year. They will need to have their best on Tuesday.

Overall, these are 4 fun matchups that I cannot wait to be dialed into tomorrow night. Wishing the best of luck to all 8 teams as they try to take another step to becoming Champions.

What a season 2025 was. We crowned a new champion in both divisions, saw new teams make deep playoff runs, and overall had some very entertaining lacrosse throughout the regular season. Some takeaways and storylines we followed:

Mattawan solidified even more being the premier program in Kalamazoo and even took care of business against some of West Michigan's best.
