One of our trustees, Mary Heery, is running the London Marathon, Sun 23rd April. We visited Edinburgh Primary School recently to introduce the students to a variety of different instruments. Lots of hands up when we asked who liked percussion the best! 🥁

One of the fantastic choirs collaborating with us on our project Striking Sparks: The Story of the Matchgirls is VictoriaParkSingers, an 80-strong East London Community choir, combining ambitious repertoire with a friendly no-audition policy. Tickets in bio!

One of the members of Aldersbrook Community Choir is a direct relative of multiple employees of the Bryant and May match factory at the heart of the strike. He told us that they would be pleased to know that this celebration of their story was happening. How about that!
