I think most teachers are looking for support before they are looking for “instructional leadership.” When administrators understand this... and when they provide that support... I think they find that teachers will follow their lead.

Building relationships doesn't just help with behavior in the classroom, but students also work harder for teachers they care for them and respect them. Relationships before rigor.
