Just caught the new Educating Yorkshire. The first time around I was 19 & very much related to the kids & the issues they were facing, now in my 30s & a whole generation apart from the new crop, it’s a much more harrowing & eye opening watch. Our education workers are incredible.

This sums up my school days so well. PE? Nah, let’s jam in a music room. Starting bands at lunchtime and getting in early to play the drum kit. It was my safe place. The arts in education are so important and should be protected at all costs.

I fought paying private dentistry for years but after today’s experience - Night of toothache, got a same morning appointment, was seen early, antibiotics for abscess & treatment plan for root canal all done in 15 mins - I’ve definitely changed my stance. Denplan is a gamechanger

I’m in the States currently and every time I’m here it’s so clear how much better the customer service is here in the UK. Yes I know hospitality workers are aiming for tips because the wage is so low, but they do go above and beyond in comparison and it’s truly lovely to see.
