CFP Committee: "Don't worry, Alabama, we don't punish teams for playing their conference championship." Also CFP Committee: "BYU, you're on thin ice, pal."

The College Football Playoff rankings reveal has become a clown show by any metric. It’s a lame reality TV show that isn’t actually based in reality: nytimes.com/athletic/68566…

Congrats to the finalist well deserved and earned, but how does BYU’s 11-1 TRUE freshman QB Bear Bachmeier get left off this list?!?!?

My favorite part about this BYU/Bama/Miami/ND debate is: • Most Fox affiliates are advocating for BYU • ESPN affiliates are advocating for Bama • NBC affiliates are advocating for ND And they all want you to think it’s about the best teams and not money.

Between Alabama, Notre Dame, BYU and Miami, BYU is: 1st in strength of record 2nd in strength of schedule 1st in Wins vs Top 25 And leads Notre Dame and Miami in all 3 of those categories. (With their 2 losses being to the #4 team in the country not to FSU or NC State)

Aye Miami I just had to watch 7-5 Duke win the ACC. For that reason y’all can stay your ass at home. & Notre Dame? You have 0 credible wins and are Independent. Only reason Miami feels relevant is cause they beat y’all. Bama BYU Tulane JMU Do the right thing College Football Playoff

I have no sympathy for ND. Join a conference bro. The team that got screwed is BYU as I knew they would. Conference title game doesn’t matter for Bama, just BYU. We knew it wouldn’t make sense and it doesn’t make sense.

BYU had a better SOS and SOR than ND and Miami going into this weekend, lost in similar fashion to Alabama andyet they were the only ones to drop. I get Alabama's resume was good, but the logic for dropping one and not the other makes me feel insane.

With Notre Dame chickening out and refusing to play BYU in the Pop Tarts Bowl I don't EVER want to see another ND fan in my comments or timeline telling me how much they would dominate BYU. You had your chance, and you took your ball and went home. Cowardice.

“What kind of message does Notre Dame send?" bowl official told On3. "We didn’t make the playoffs, so let’s just pack it up & go home. You think BYU’s not upset. Hell ya they are. So are other teams, but they sucked it up. That’s poor leadership.”

BYU and Notre Dame were the two most deserving teams that were left out of the CFP. Notre Dame is and will continue to sit at home pouting and throwing a fit about not being in the CFP. BYU is moving past it, embracing the Pop Tarts Bowl, and my sources are saying there are
