The Sudanese are polarized by this war, but this is unacceptable. For over a year now, there has been a surge in London, of pro-army youth assaults against people under the pretext that they are FFC or RSF backers, it coincides with a rise of gangs among young Sudanese here.

Remember, given all that you're now seeing in Gaza, that American universities have been withholding the degrees of students speaking out against one of the most visible atrocities in human history. The most visible genocidal atrocity, and the most penalized advocacy.

War Monitor So if Palestinians already knew that Israel would not stop until they kill all, would it be better to live under their boot forever or resist and hope the world helps them? What they didn't calculate was the inhumanity of the world

Comparison to Nazi Germany are not just justified, they are necessary. You don't get to burn and starve men, women, and children for 600 days, put the survivors in concentration camps, humiliate them, and still claim to be part of humanity.

Cannot express how disgusted I am to see these writers -- after 20 straight months of Israeli slaughter of Palestinians -- pat themselves on the back for using the word that applied back in October 2023. Most of them did a LOT, including publishing truly stupid pieces, to

Sexual violence is not a natural or inevitable consequence of war, it can constitute a war crime, a form of torture, and a crime against humanity. Claire San Filippo, MSF emergency coordinator msf.org/sexual-violenc… via @msf

#Sudan 's army-backed authorities are calling on local relief volunteers to register in Khartoum. Activists, experts and foreign aid workers fear this new directive could lead to a crackdown on ERRs, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis. My latest aljazeera.com/news/2025/5/28…

🔴 The Sudan Doctors Network reports that the Rapid Support Forces have detained 178 civilians, including medical personnel, in a campaign of forced recruitment. Detainees were reportedly given a stark choice: fight for the RSF or pay a ransom for release. Among those arrested

They are aware. The issue isn't that they don't understand what is happening. The issue is they don't care to understand because the majority of society has completely dehumanized Palestinians, a process that started with the beginning of the 20th century and not Oct 7.

‘When the intent becomes so explicit, we are forced to confront our own complicity.’ But Israeli leaders’ intent to commit genocide was made explicit 19 months, not 2 weeks, ago. Ignoring this for all this time is a very different sort of complicity.

South Sudan is not on the brink of civil war, civil war is underway. Government & opposition forces are engaged in direct fighting, and hostilities & govt attacks have displaced over 130,000 people. Some 50,000 have fled to Ethiopia as refugees.

#KeepEyesOnSudan #EyesOnDarfur The decades of the international community's failure to respond to the genocidal acts in Darfur, along with the complicity of African and Sudanese elites in neglecting the plight and pain of Darfurians, are sickening. MSF has consistently brought

Hi there Ben Mulroney, professor of international law here 👋🏻 Israeli settlements in the West Bank are a war crime (Rome Statute art 8(2)(b)(viii)). Are you saying that facilitating war crimes should not be protested?

It’s ironic that, 77 years after the Genocide Convention, Israel complains about the “expansion” of the definition of genocide when any even cursory exploration of those 77 years will show Israel is now part of a shameful tradition to try to *restrict* it

As the war in Khartoum calms down the extent of the damage is now becoming clear - one estimate puts damage to Khartoum at $300 billion and to Sudan in total at $700 billion. Rebuilding will be hard, but presents the opportunity to finally decentralize. Our story:
