In my report for Physics World on a vist to CERN with Rhys Blakely and Alok Jha I refer to the giant "end-cap" of the CMS Experiment CERN detector at CERN as "that lumpy bit", much to the wry irritation of Dave Barney who's only worked on it for, er, 25 years. physicsworld.com/a/this-is-how-…
