we don’t talk enough about how tough it is to deal with anticipatory grief. you know the person or pet that you love is still here but you also know soon they won’t be.

Just found out my dog, Ziggy, has a cancerous mass on his colon. He’s almost 16 years old. This breaks me in a way that I can’t possibly express. He’s everything. Tough to breathe.

Are people “happy” here?

This will be a day of devastation and loss. I don’t want this day to be. Hope I have the strength to endure. 😣 😢 I will forever miss my fury friend and companion…his soul reaching ours has been the true gift of a lifetime. My heart hurts…

My dog passed over the rainbow bridge yesterday. Now I feel so empty that I fear I’ve lost my words and purpose. No idea where to go from here. No idea. 😔
