Here’s number four in my countdown of reasons why 2022 promises to be a belter of a year, Mathematically (expect one of these each day as we approach the new year!): #HNY2022

Do your kids like doing word searches on kids menus at restaurants? My 3 sure did! Tammy has taken them to another level. Each problem teaches & addresses an important math skill. Nothing trivial about any of them. Can we get kids to enjoy working on their skills? I think we can!

We were so happy to welcome our new teachers today (and to have an excuse for some giant pizza)! We can’t wait for them to meet the rest of our Linkhorne Elementary School Family!!

I have been working on a collection of math tasks that I am calling "180 Days of Math Tasks." So far I am one-third of the way with 60 tasks completed. I am hopeful to also include extensions and other add-ons. The collection is here: bit.ly/180daysmath #iTeachMath

Want to move students into multiplicative reasoning? A slight change in vocabulary could do that! Rather than calling it 3/4 think about what it might look like if we said 3 1/4s. Thanks Pam Harris - Workshop was great. Can't wait until tomorrow! #reachmorestudents

hey #mtbos I know I have seen an animation of an equal mark becoming a greater than or less than sign. Now that I want to use it, I can't find it. Anyone know what I am talking about?
