At today's #MassDOT Innovation conference we honor the four highway workers who lost their lives in Massachusetts work zones over the past year. A reminder to please slow down and keep your eyes on the road for everyone working on the roadway. 🦺

It’s okay to pass bicyclists when they can’t pedal as fast as your car. Just make sure you give them plenty of space. MA law requires drivers to maintain a safe distance of 4 ft & a safe speed when passing a bicyclist, pedestrian, or any vulnerable road user. #NationalBikeMonth

Drivers, take a second look before turning left. Motorcyclists can be harder to see, especially at intersections. ✅ Signal early ✅ Double-check your blind spots ✅ Give them room to ride safely Look twice. Save a life. #MotorcycleSafetyMonth

The faster you drive, the less you see. 🚗🔍 At higher speeds, your field of vision shrinks—and so does your time to react. That puts everyone at risk, especially people walking or biking. Slow down and #ScanTheStreet for wheels and feet.

Are you traveling near the I-90/I-95 Newton Weston area this weekend? Plan ahead and expect MAJOR delays on the road and rail, due to rapid weekend construction on the I-90 EB/WB bridge over the MBTA Commuter Rail, near exit 123 and 125. Avoid the area if possible.ℹ️Mass.gov/NewtonWeston
