At our 2025 Congress, Marxist Unity Group voted to run our incumbent NPC members Amy and Rashad for this year’s DSA Convention. Here’s what they have to say about the road ahead: 🧵👇

Amy: “I’m looking forward to continuing [...] the fight for democracy in our workplaces, in our homes, in our country, in our world, the fight for a democratic constitution. We can bring that to DSA; we can bring it to the world.”

Rashad: “It’s not just about winning for winning’s sake, it’s about winning politics that we think will help urgently change the world. Because I don’t want to just fight for a democratic socialist republic, I want to live in one.”

Vote MUG 1-2-3 for DSA National Electoral Commission Steering Committee! Morgan, Chanpreet and Curtis are running for re-election on a four point platform to continue building nationwide struggle through programs like Socialist Cash Takes Out Capitalist Trash 🍻

Morgan R is the co-chair of the NEC Operations Subcommittee, which handles fundraising and communications for nationally endorsed candidates. In Cleveland, she has served as chapter Secretary and successfully organized to enshrine abortion rights in Ohio.

Chanpreet S is the co-chair of the Seattle EWG, the other co-chair of the NEC Operations Subcommittee, and created and launched Socialist Cash. His organizing experience includes Raise the Wage Renton, Shaun Scott for State Assembly and community support for Punjabi immigrants.

Curtis R is a current Steering member of the National Electoral Committee. On the body, Curtis focused on the Endorsements subcommittee, leading revisions of the endorsement process and materials. He was a field lead during the Zohran campaign and Jonathan Soto for Assembly.

Together, they are running to build an NEC where national endorsement brings the full weight of our party into chapter campaigns, uniting DSA members across the country in the struggle for democracy and socialism.
