#BritishSteel was candid about its demise, a brexit-fuelled catastrophe #Honda was less forthright with the truth about British manufacturing and its closure of Swindon due partly to brexit; #Ford Bridgend and #Nissan Sunderland were more honest @claireperrymp #PeoplesVote now

Johnson promised rise of 40% tax threshold to get elected as PM by Tory party; pledge now dropped, aiming at lower earners with £500/year reduction (a falsehood) to buy support in General election. How can we believe anything this party says? #stopjohnson #stopbrexit #voteRemain

This ad (in The Guardian) eclipses for thoughtlessness Iceland’s plastic bag ‘Life’s too short to peel carrots’ from 20 years ago. Once we have #StopBrexit, time to join #ExtinctionRebellion to call out such profligacy.

Having campaigned, written, shouted, marched, argued, hoped, paid out, painted, erected, despaired and voted, it is clear that more are of another voice. We tried but they outnumbered. They are not necessarily wrong. Maybe time to move on, to move with and to make the best of it.

What you’ve also done, Priti Patel MP , is to end freedom of movement for UK passport holders across our continent. The citizens of 27 other countries, the great majority of Europeans, still retain it. That’s not something to fly our flag over in my book.

I know there's a lot going on. But I would really like you to read this. It discusses what I believe is Johnson and Cummings's real agenda, and how they will bypass democracy to make it happen. Thanks. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

So many people have already tested their eyesight by watching this projection on Barnard Castle (2M+ views and 55K+ shares on social media). Chip in here to help us hold Johnson’s government to account crowdfunder.co.uk/by-donkeys

Yesterday we issued proceedings in the High Court against Michael Gove. You can read those proceedings, which allege both breaches of procurement law and apparent bias in the grant of a lucrative contract to longtime associates of Mr Cummings, here: crowdjustice.com/case/a-river-t…

In 1988, Margaret Thatcher proudly declared that the barriers to trade in Europe were coming down. In 2020, the same party is putting the barriers back up. Progress can never be taken for granted! theguardian.com/politics/2020/…

Johnson, I have a good plan. With most of the trade deal ready to go, accept the last requirements of the EU and sign on the line. This will make most people in the UK and Europe mostly happy. Then you resign for having gone back on your word, and again, most people happy. Simple
