Nigel Harris Gareth Dennis Ironically, I would not dispute that HS2 is a political and governmental balls up! Under a government blinded by Brexit and its own psychodramas. But that does not make the features and concept of HS2 wrong, and Robert Colvile cannot distinguish between the two.

Mark Eltringham But I don't recall opponents of HS2 identifying the risks that have actually materialised, such as cost plus contracts, poor government oversight, constant turnover of ministers, which would have been useful, whereas I can give chapter and verse on where Richard's analysis fails.
