Why in the world did #microsoft kill #SemanticKernel? Pulling it into the Azure AI community on Discord completely killed it as an open source project. All of us outside of Azure are going to abandon it now. It was always biased to Azure and Open AI, but at least there was a

The updates for bolt.new are incredible. I've been knocking out sites left and right. Ideas I've had forever but never had time to create I can just create in a few hours. Before the UI was ok, but not amazing. Now though I can whip out a landing page in a single

I really enjoy reading this, and thought I'd share it in case you haven't heard of it. He covers a wide range of AI topics, mostly focused on how to type articles. The Kaitchup – AI on a Budget kaitchup.substack.com/?r=1bq2n

github.blog/news-insights/… The new coding Agent in Github itself (not in VS though that is amazing too) is a complete game changer. I've been assigning issues to it, even with bare bones background, and it just handles it for me. I asked it "Add Jest tests to this project" and it

Who was the crazy person saying Veo3 was amazing? 🤣 A step forward yes, but... its just so comically horrible still. Look at this sandwich from OCD hell. Veo3 is amazing as a breakthrough in AI, but absolutely unusable in customer facing projects.

This is frightening. I mentioned this the other day in our AI cohort meeting, but this is even worse than I imagined. How to audit my 150 developer systems constantly for vulnerable MCP servers? Bha, so much fun. labs.snyk.io/resources/prom…

One of my principal engineers introduced me to an excellent tool: obsidian.md. It is absolutely incredible for doing shared documentation and note taking. I've been mixing it with #vscode and #copilot to create documentation and architecture documents from our old PDF

Warning people... GPT5 in #Copilot will get tired after a long day of work and just stop doing anything useful. Same prompt (in a new window), same process, and it will just become absolutely worthless without warning, like 4.0 level worthless. Like teenager working with

The first AI company that stops doing this crazy “you must log in to see a conversation” thing when you share a conversation, blocking agents from using the data, will win bigly. You are seriously forcing me to copy and paste conversations in 2025? Just let me pass the

Hello my fellow nerds. I’m trying to find an “old” doc from the Microsoft Patterns and Practices days where they had multiple personas talking through an architectural solution (it was the rage for a while). I wanted to show it as an example but 2008 is supposedly “a long time

Unfortunately Microsoft has succumbed to it baser instincts and pulled SK into Azure land, killing it for the rest of us. They could have been the one, but the business team got in the way of the much more sensible ideas of their engineers. They lose… again.
