Well done to students Aggy and Mayeni who represented The Carnegies Shadowers from schools in #Suffolk this morning and interviewed award-winning author Tia Fisher (only here for a bit). The video will be played at our Carnegie Battle of the Books event later on in the month. We can't wait!

It’s been fantastic to see so many new faces in the school library today. We’re excited to kick off our library clubs next week—starting with Cards & Comics on Monday, led by Mr Chandler.

Last week, our Library Assembly Team delivered their very first assembly to students of year 7, 8 and 9. The focus was on Banned Books Week — a time to celebrate the freedom to read and reflect on the importance of diverse voices in literature.

What an incredible first year it’s been for ESF. We’re so proud of everything the foundation has achieved to date. Our commitment remains the same: fighting for high-quality music education for every child.  Thank you for your continued support 💛

In celebration of Music in Our Schools Month, we reached out to someone very special - Ed’s school music teacher, Mr. Hanley. We invited him to reflect on his remarkable 40-year teaching career and to share how music education has influenced and shaped the lives of his students
