We ask retail workers to uphold the law by preventing illegal sales of alcohol, acid and knives – but the law doesn't do enough to protect them. Add your support to @AlexNorrisNN's bill now to make violence #NotPartOfTheJob 👇 Co-operative Party @CoopUKcampaigns party.coop/retailviolence…

Back at West Didsbury (socially distanced this time) visiting Helen and team and checking out the latest innovation... traffic lights! Really helping manage number of people in and out the store. Still testing and learning but hope to get to more stores soon Steven

We need your support 📢 It's been 1 year since we sent evidence to Home Office on the crime and violence our colleagues experience. Still no response ❌ Tag your MP below and ask them to support @AlexNorrisNN assaults on retail workers bill ⬇️ #ItsNotPartOfTheJob

Violence is not part of the job. We must help protect our colleagues, customers, and communities. Join us in signing the petition.

The reality of what our colleagues have to deal with.. So upsetting, we should be in this together and all taking personal responsibility to stay safe! Shop workers shouldn’t have to deal with this behaviour, ever! @paulgerrard1971

Great news for all retail workers in Scotland . I am delighted that the new bill has been passed meaning retail workers are more protected in law than they were previously.🥂🥂🥂Co-op Campaigns Team @paulgerrard1971 @paulHan62685872 Co-op Ian Hindle Graham Watt

Great to see retailers coming together as one with Government on this. Although our personal lives have had some relief, the rules in stores are still very important to prevent the spread of COVID as we step toward normality. Championing kindness together is good for everyone.
