A tin of own brand baked beans in Lidl is 22p. A tin of Heinz Baked beans in Tesco is 85p. Do you think Heinz lose a lot of sleep about the ‘race to the bottom’ that Lidl are driving? I doubt it. They trust in their product. People don’t always buy the cheapest product.
